A Cocktail with Health Perks
We have found a new way to get healthy with a cocktail! I know what you are thinking... how can a cocktail be healthy?!
We freshly squeezed in season mandarin oranges filled with vitamin C into our drink to help give us that little boost of immunity during this hectic and busy season. We also used a little Blue Elephant Chili peppers in our cocktail to help warm us up. The cold and flu season is in full swing. The weather outside is changing every day and windy and rainy and this makes us more susceptible to getting sick. You do not have time to take care of yourself so Friday baby, now is your chance to get healthy with this delicious Blue Elephant Chili Cocktail. Bring on the heat!
Blue Elephant Restaurant
I bet you wondering why we called our drink the Blue Elephant Chili Cocktail and our drink is not even BLUE. How many of you have ever eaten at the Blue Elephant restaurant ? Not only do they have delicious food and spirits, they also have their own brand of Blue Elephant Royal Thai Cuisine herbs and spices such as galgangal, lemongrass and of course chilis. We love their spices and use them all the time when cooking Thai dishes. We made our cocktail with a little crushed fire hot bird chili. You do not need to make this drink with this brand of chili but could even use dried red pepper flakes but these chili peppers are suburb. A little dab will do you and you can make your drink to your desire of heat.

Mandarins are just coming in season and I can see this drink in my glass very soon. Just a hint of spice for me but I'd love it.

We just love those easy to peel juicy mandarin oranges so sweet and delicious. Yes, just a hint of spice as Thai chili peppers are small but mighty.. Thank you Maureen.
